easter
Many things are happening at the library: Story Hours on Wednesdays with themes-Silly Days, Firefighters, Easter, Taste and Body Movement. The Adult Book Club meets Monday, April 14th at 10am to discuss The Red Tent. Thursday evenings from 5-6 is the Linesville Tales that Wag Reading Program for preschool thru 6th graders. Fridays Mrs. Button’s class will be coming from 10-11 for stories and fun at the library.

paperbacks

During the months of March and April we are having paperback books for sale at .30 cents each or 4 for $1.00. Stop in and see what we have. There are no children’s books.

adult book club
The Linesville Library Adult Book Club meets the second Monday of each month at 10AM. We have had lively discussions with many rabbit trails and lots of good laughs. Come and share or just listen. To find out what the group is reading call the library at 814-683-4354.

tales that wag
Linesville Tales That Wag is held every Thursday evening from 5pm-6pm (except holidays). This program is for preschool through 6th graders. It is a time for young people to read to therapy dogs to improve their reading skills in a positive atmosphere without any negative feed back. Our therapy dogs are: Max and Bailey who are very good listeners and love the children. This is a free program but parents/guardians must sign permission slips for their child to participate (permission slips available at the circulation desk).

story hour
The Linesville Community Public Library’s 2013-2014 Story Hour has begun. This program is for preschoolers and is an interactive hands on learning experience of stories, songs, movement, crafts and more. This is free and open to the public. Our Story Hour theme this year is: What do you See, Hear, Feel or Smell?
